Investment Analyst

Inspired Capital is looking for an Investment Analyst to play an integral role on our investment team. As an Investment Analyst, you will work in lock-step with our team of tight-knit team of investors. You will be part of all aspects of the deal flow process, with an emphasis on sourcing exceptionally high quality deals and diligencing potential opportunities.

We invest deeply in every member of our team and are looking for an Investment Analyst who wants to fully commit to the next chapter of their career. This role is based full-time in our New York headquarters in Union Square (featured in Cultured).

Key Responsibilities

• [ ]  Source unique deals from a proprietary set of deal flow
• [ ]  Support active deals through market research, financial analysis, and modeling
• [ ]  Compose detailed investment memos, outlining the pros and cons of potential investments
• [ ]  Build models and assess the quality of a company’s key metrics potential
• [ ]  Research emerging industries and become a subject matter expert in key areas that align with the firm’s theses

Requirements

• [ ]  Strong self-starter, with a commitment to learning
• [ ]  1-3 years of relevant experience (i.e. venture, investment banking, private equity, hedge fund, startup)
• [ ]  Proficient in modeling, market-sizing, and presenting data-driven and qualitative analysis
• [ ]  Data-oriented and analytical thinker
• [ ]  Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with everyone from senior members of the team to portfolio founders
• [ ]  Obsessed with entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem
• [ ]  Low ego, high hustle

We are an equal opportunity employer. We expect the base salary range to be between $90,000-$110,000. Your exact compensation will be determined based on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
