Role Overview
We are looking for an intellectually curious, analytical, and driven Investment Analyst to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the partners, gain exposure to all aspects of the venture investing lifecycle, and help shape the future of our firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities across sectors. Track emerging technologies and market trends.
- Diligence Support: Conduct deep market, competitive, and financial analysis. Assist in preparing investment memos and presenting to the investment committee.
- Portfolio Support: Collaborate with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, research, and operational planning.
- Thesis Development: Support development of sector-specific investment theses. Stay abreast of relevant tech, product, and market trends.
- Internal Systems: Help refine internal databases, deal pipelines, and research processes to enhance firm productivity and decision-making.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or a startup in a strategic role.
- Strong analytical skills and a deep curiosity about technology, startups, and venture investing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex ideas into concise insights.
- Familiarity with financial modeling, market sizing, and valuation.
- Self-starter with high attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
