With offices in Salt Lake City and Palo Alto, Sorenson Capital has $1.6 billion of assets under management.The incoming Investment Analyst will be a part of the Ventures team at Sorenson Capital, which is comprised of 3 Partners, 1 Vice President, 1 Senior Associate, and 1 Analyst. The Ventures team is laser-focused on backing companies from inception up to Series A (or up to $5M ARR). We are investing out of our newly raised $150M Fund III.

About the Analyst Position
The Investment Analyst will play a pivotal role in the firm’s investment and portfolio management operations. While this is a 2-year opportunity, there is the potential to extend the role beyond 2 years, and the firm has helped place Analysts at portfolio companies or other investment firms.
Role & Responsibilities
The Analyst's core responsibility is to support the Ventures investment team across sourcing and triaging deals, conducting investment diligence, managing portfolio projects and reporting, planning events and conferences, and engaging with LPs.
Requirements
Current undergraduate Senior or recent graduate with experience in technology investment banking, PE/VC, startups, or consulting
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel
Experience with financial and cap table models + SaaS metrics
