What will you be doing?

As a Visiting Analyst based in Amsterdam, you will support investor relations and investments as we continue to scale. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a finance, business, data science or equivalent analytical background who is eager to gain first-hand venture capital experience and contribute to climate-focused innovation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the fundraising process: preparing materials for investors, conducting market and investor research, and assisting with outreach initiatives.
• Contributing to investment team workflows by reviewing startup materials, conducting market research, and preparing insights for internal discussions.
• Joining deal teams to support with technical and competitive due diligence of startups
• Assessing pitch decks and providing recommendations in our weekly investment team meetings

Supporting ad-hoc strategic projects as we scale the fund and portfolio.

And who are you?

We’re looking for someone with a broad commercial mindset — analytical, curious, and eager to learn. You don’t need a technical or scientific background for this role, but you should be excited about the future of climate tech and sustainability and able to demonstrate that passion through prior projects, internships, voluntary activities, or professional experience.

Essential:

• Final-year student or recent graduate in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline
• Relevant experience in finance, investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital
• Clear evidence of enthusiasm for climate tech, sustainability, or the transition to a regenerative economy, demonstrated through previous work, extracurricular activities, or projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to distil complex ideas into clear, compelling messages
• Highly organised and proactive with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Eager to work with various software tools and tech platforms, and willing to continuously improve internal systems and processes
• Team player with a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English (another European language is a plus)
• Reliable according to § 1 (20) no. 1 - 3 of the German Anti Money Laundering Act
