Analyst

We are looking for a motivated Junior Analyst to support the Venture Investments team in investment analysis and administrative tasks out of our Copenhagen office.

The Job

The role as Junior Analyst provides exposure to venture capital, biotech and drug development, while allowing the successful candidate to work alongside and learn from an international team of seasoned life science investors.

The primary role of the Junior Analyst will be to support the European investment team through deal flow administration and investment due diligence. Additional activities include screening of new companies, participating in global team meetings, as well as various ad-hoc tasks. The role will provide exposure to biotech companies spanning a range of therapeutic areas and stages of development.

The Junior Analyst will be expected to be in the office 15-20 hours per week in our Copenhagen office, with flexibility provided for study and exam commitments.

Professional qualifications 

• 3rd year Bachelor’s student or 1st year Master’s student within natural life sciences, biomedical sciences, medicine, biomedical engineering, or similar
• Sufficient scientific literacy to read primary research literature
• Basic understanding of drug development and the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated interest in commercial application of scientific research, biotech, entrepreneurship or venture capital
• Strong academic results – GPA in top of the class
• Fluent communication in English – verbal as well as written
• Experience with Microsoft office, experience with Salesforce CRM is an advantage

• Excellent analytical skills with the right combination of overview and attention to details
• Able to work structured and independently, highly motivated self-starter
• Team player, who wants to be a part of an international environment
