🧠 About the RoleAre you passionate about Web3 venture capital and ready to make an impact? As our Investment Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in our fund’s success. Beyond the standard responsibilities of an investment analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our liquid fund and infrastructure business, contributing to the holistic growth of our ecosystem.

- Source Web3 investment opportunities. You will play a crucial part in the whole deal journey. This gives you exposure to Web3 founders and insights into their business models.
- Spearhead investments in Web3 startups, leveraging your expertise in venture capital to identify promising opportunities.
- Manage the full investment cycle, from sourcing, due diligence, IC meeting preparation to portfolio management and exits.
- Collaborate with the founding team to optimise investment strategies and drive portfolio performance.
- Cultivate relationships with founders, investors, and industry stakeholders to expand our network and deal flow.
- Attend international events to represent w3.fund and build relationships with founders, angels, VC funds, and the Web3 community. This always helps you gain visibility and a network in Web3.
- Provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies, helping them navigate the challenges of the Web3 landscape.

- 🛠️ RequirementsMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking or related fields, with a focus on Web3/blockchain/crpyto, technology.
- Deep understanding of Web3 technologies, including blockchain, smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and crypto-assets.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market trends.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and investment theses clearly and concisely. Experience in preparing investment memos, research reports, or industry analyses preferred.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Fluency in English required; German is a plus.
- Located in or willing to relocate to Berlin.
- Bonus: A passion for the Web3 community and a desire to play a key role in its development.
