Notus Technologies is the Family Office of Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux, which he created in 2014 after 20 years of entrepreneurial experience. Notus Technologies aims to support entrepreneurs in the development of their business or managers wishing to get started and needing support, both financial and strategic or operational.
The company carries out three types of activities:
- Majority investments in SMEs with turnover of €3 to €30m in two sectors:
- Gastronomy/delicatessen: brings together the companies Oliviers&Co, Le Fondant Baulois, Benoit Chocolats and BienManger.com with the aim of bringing together iconic premium food brands, made in France, in order to support their commercial development in France and throughout the world
- Outdoor: brings together the companies Chullanka, Chronoloisirs, Amsterdam Air, Nihola France and Douze Cycles (multi-channel manufacturers and/or distributors of products for sports and outdoor leisure) and intends to bring together other manufacturers and distributors in this field, with a particular interest in soft mobility
- Venture Capital: participation in startup fundraising with tickets of €50k to €500k, direct investment in companies such as Wecasa, Mercateam, Homepilot, Jolly Mama, Bon Vivant, Monisnap, La Consigne GreenGo, Greenly,
- Minority investments in SMEs
All of the investments include around 300 employees and generate more than €70 million in turnover (excluding minority investments & startups).
Main missions
You will be fully integrated into the Notus Technologies investment team and will have the following main missions:
Origination
- Search for new investment opportunities (startups and SMEs), contact with target companies
- Carrying out market research, competitive analysis
Analyze your deal flow
- Financial and strategic analysis of files received, writing of investment notes
- Presentation of investment opportunities to the rest of the team
- Participation in discussions with managers of target companies
- Participation in monitoring due diligence, negotiating legal documentation, negotiating bank financing, etc.
Management of participations
- Carry out weekly monitoring of portfolio holdings in conjunction with other members of the team
- Carry out ad hoc missions on strategic and operational subjects with the managers of the participations
- Help to structure the acquisitions made, establish synergies between the participations
- Participate in strategic committees of SMEs and startups in the portfolio
- Participate in the preparation of reports
- DAF/RAF missions on certain participations
Internal
- Participation/contribution to internal Notus projects
Required profile
- Business or engineering school with a specialization in finance
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in corporate finance, transaction services/restructuring, operational or strategy consulting (internships included)
- Good knowledge of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Entrepreneurial spirit and sensitivity to operational subjects
- The great diversity of subjects covered requires a certain curiosity of mind and a good capacity for adaptation
- Rigor, reliability, ability to work independently
- An interest in the world of delicatessen, outdoors and e-commerce would be a plus
- Knowledge of the Startup ecosystem would be a plus
