About the Investment Analyst Position:
Springbank is seeking a full-time Investment Analyst to join our team. We have a small investment team, and the Investment Analyst will play an integral role in all aspects of Springbank's operations as a venture capital firm. The role will be based in New York.
About The Role & Responsibilities:
- This hybrid role is based in NYC and has an initial duration period of 2 years, with the potential for extension or promotion.
- 50% of your time will be dedicated to chief of staff operations, and the other 50% will be allocated to supporting investments.
- Collaborate on reports and presentations for quarterly updates and annual general meetings.
- Assist with executing internal reporting, valuation, and other fund management tasks.
- As needed, assist in financial and cap table modeling and ad hoc assignments related to financial operations, firm operations, and financial reporting.
- Manage special projects and brand/marketing initiatives, including social media, and support any event planning.
- Work with Springbank members to prepare internal investment memos and perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including analysis of new markets, technologies, and competitive landscapes.
- Monitor, research, and develop intelligence and investment themes on emerging trends and disruptive companies.
Requirements:
- You should thrive in a small and intensely collaborative team environment. You should also be self-directed and operate with a strong sense of agency.
- Some demonstrated experience reviewing and analyzing investment opportunities through internships, student organizations, or related activities.
- The ideal candidate will have a balance of creativity, deep analytical rigor, and a passion for the technology startup ecosystem and markets.
- Ability to work independently and excel in an unstructured/entrepreneurial environment.

- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication and strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree, 1-2 years of experience in startups, venture capital, or consulting.
Location: Based in New York, 2-3 days will be in the office.
Salary: The salary for the role is $100k—$110k annually. The salary listed does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay, or other compensation or benefits.
