About the role

QuantumLight is a technology-driven investment firm rethinking venture and growth equity through AI and data. Built by unicorn founders, quant traders, AI scientists, and engineers, we leverage proprietary machine intelligence trained on 10B+ data points across 700k VC-backed companies to identify and support the next generation of exceptional founders.

We’re hiring an Investment Associate / Principal to help us strengthen our presence in the US startup ecosystem and build meaningful relationships with founders.

This is not a traditional finance-only investing role. We’re looking for someone who is highly connected in the startup world and naturally strong at building founder relationships and generating warm introductions.

You may be:

• an ex-founder
• an early-stage VC investor or scout
• a startup operator
• an ecosystem/community builder
• or an ex-MBB consultant who later moved into startups

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with startup founders across the US ecosystem
• Improve founder response and engagement rates
• Generate warm introductions to high-quality startups
• Source and evaluate investment opportunities
• Represent the fund within the startup and venture communities

What We’re Looking For

• Strong startup/founder network, ideally in SF/Bay Area
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Genuine interest in startups and venture investing
• High social intelligence and strong founder credibility
• A STEM background is a plus
