What You Will Do

The Associate provides support by executing critical assignments in the investment process and portfolio company management. The Associate will work closely with the investment lead (Partner/Principal) to execute all stages of early-stage investments.

Essential Functions:

• Support the evaluation of startups by performing tasks such as business model assessment, competitive landscape analysis, financial modeling, and pricing.
• Help manage aspects of the due diligence process and deal structuring.
• Support monitoring, managing, and internal reporting of portfolio companies.
• Conduct research on sectors and markets to identify key trends and potential investments and to assist in adding value to portfolio companies.
• Develop presentations/memos for internal and external stakeholders.
• Strengthen market knowledge through attending relevant market events, staying up-to-date on industry news and trends, and networking with key market stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: MBA or equivalent preferred but not necessary. Engineering degrees a plus.
• Experience: 4+ years of finance/investment experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in executing similar investments in key markets.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysis
• Knowledge of regional economies and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
• Proficiency in financial, market, and business analysis and valuation.
• Solid communication skills, including writing and presenting.
• Entrepreneurial experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

Based in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, or Cairo, with travel required primarily within the region.
