Job Description

signals Venture Capital is looking for an Associate (m/f/d) to support the investment team!

Become part of our interdisciplinary investment team and support all aspects of a venture capital investment. This includes the sourcing, screening and due diligence of investment opportunities, as well as the post-funding support of startups. With us, you will have the chance to drive startup investments, build up a portfolio, and accompany our startups to a successful exit. You will also be involved in formulating investment opportunities and presenting them to our investment committee.

Your Tasks

• Sourcing of attractive investment opportunities
• Supporting evaluation and due diligence of startups and presenting them to the investment committee
• Supervision of our existing portfolio companies to support their strategic and financial value enhancement and preparing them for a successful exiting the long run
• Successive build-up of expertise to drive the signals Venture Capital investment strategy forward
• Expansion of your network in the European startup and VC ecosystem

Your Profile

• Work experience: At least 2 years at a VC fund or well known accelerator
• Language: English (fluent), fluency in German a plus
• Location: Germany and Europe (hybrid working is possible)
• Good initial network in a region or domain
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Confident appearance and excellent communication skills
• Fascination for and profound knowledge about startups and trends
