Planet A Ventures is a Climate Tech Venture Capital fund supporting start-ups that have a measurable positive impact on our planet while building profitable, scalable businesses. Tasks
- Joint responsibility for the investment process, including deal sourcing and identification, conducting initial meetings and deep-dives with founders, conducting expert calls, and writing investment proposals.
- Supporting the General Partners (GPs) in deal closing and transaction.
- Building expertise around specific deep-tech topics.
- Preparing industry research to form new investment hypotheses and stay ahead of market trends, research, and the funding environment.
- Supporting the Planet A team in deal-flow related projects to make us a more thesis- and data-driven fund.
- Actively building a brand for Planet A Ventures by representing us at industry events, engaging in speaking opportunities, and writing blog posts, among other activities.
Requirements
- Previous working experience (1 - 2 years) in Venture Capital or in another investment capacity, ideally having experience looking into climate tech/ deep tech space.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
- Excellent self-organization and structured work skills are required.
- A team player through and through.
- A confident demeanor combined with humility towards external stakeholders is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in another language would be a plus!
- Most importantly, being mission-driven is a must!
