This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of computing, focusing on AI, quantum technology, data science and automation, while operating within one of Europe’s most influential research and industry ecosystems. You will support science driven entrepreneurship and help translate academic excellence into international impact.

The Role

As an Investment Associate, you’ll be a core member of our investment team. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry partners to identify, evaluate, and support the next generation of deep tech companies. This role also offers the opportunity to leverage your skills in AI and automation to help build and shape the automation strategy for our operations and analytics function.

Key Responsibilities

• Deal Sourcing: Actively engage with academic innovation hubs and research environments to build a high-quality pipeline of investment opportunities.
• Technical & Market Analysis: Stay at the forefront of developments in AI, quantum computing, data science and automation, to assess technical viability and market dynamics.
• Due Diligence: Support in detailed commercial and technical reviews of potential portfolio companies, including expert interviews and customer validation.
• Transaction Support: Contribute to investment processes, from initial assessment to closing, working closely with senior team members.
• Ecosystem Building: Develop relationships with researchers, entrepreneurs, and co-investors to strengthen the deep tech ecosystem.

Who You Are

• Professional Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a technical field such as AI, robotics, automation, data science, engineering, or research.
• Academic Excellence: A strong technical background is important. A PhD in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is highly meritorious.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Interest in contributing to the translation of research into commercial ventures and international growth
• Analytical Rigor: You can understand complex scientific concepts and evaluate them from both a technical and commercial perspective.
• Communication: You communicate clearly with people from different backgrounds and can build trust with both scientists and business leaders. Fluency in Swedish and English is required.
• Growth Orientation: You are proactive, eager to learn, and motivated by long-term societal and industrial impact.

The position is full-time and based at the office on Arsenalsgatan 8C, Stockholm.
