Associate

Do you want to meet with amazing entrepreneurs all day… dig into their businesses… source new deals and support existing deals?

If yes, this role is for you!

We are looking for an Associate to join our team in a wide range of activities including managing deal flow pipeline, supporting our investment process through due diligence, sector research, internal operations, supporting portfolio companies, and representing 212 at various industry events. This role supports all aspects of a deal from due diligence to modeling and execution.

This role will be performing various activities, including:

• Conducting due diligence activities
• Conducting market research and running competitive landscape analyses
• Contribute to our investment decisions
• Preparation of internal fund models, valuation memos, and investor updates
• Work with 212 portfolio companies
• Prepare deal pipelines and status updates
• Work with 212 Stakeholders and build a stronger relationship

We are looking for a passionate talent who has;

• 4-5 years start-up, venture capital, private equity, or management consulting experience
• Deep analytical skills (modeling and back of the envelope)
• Having a sale-like mentality to find potential deals
• Passion to learn new things & intellectual curiosity
• Passion to work with technology start-ups, incubator/accelerator, and venture community
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Prior entrepreneurial experience or work with start-ups is a plus
