We are hiring for this role in both the US and Europe as part of a two-year Associate program. In the US, Associates will be based in our San Francisco or Boston offices. In Europe, the role is remote, but candidates must be physically based in Europe.

Roles And Responsibilities

As a key member of the investment team, you can expect the role to cover the the following workstreams: 

• Opportunity Identification – research new markets and industry trends, meet entrepreneurs and attend conferences to source promising investment opportunities for the fund, collaborate with the investment team to prioritize actionable opportunities
• Due Diligence / Deal Execution – analyze market and company, develop investment model, synthesize learnings and investment highlights and considerations for investment committee, and participate in closing process
• Support portfolio companies and the fund generally – collaborate with the investment team to support growth initiatives across Owl's portfolio and oversee investment progress. Represent the firm in public and online through public research and events. 

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2 to 4 years of investment banking, finance, venture capital/private equity, consulting, or other relevant experience
• Intellectually curious with strong research and analytical, financial modeling, and communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work both independently (strong self-starter) and collaboratively (strong teamwork)
• Ability to establish trust and develop strong relationships with Founders and management teams
• Experience in Education and/or Technology sectors a plus, but not a requirement
• Passion for AI, learning, and the future of work
