We’re hiring a Fund Accountant/Operations Associate to support the financial operations of Alpha Partners, a growth equity firm based in Midtown, NYC. This is a small, collaborative team where your work will span fund accounting, operations, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

Alpha Partners is a growth equity co-investment firm that invests in enterprise software and tech-enabled services businesses beginning at Series B and up until pre-IPO. Alpha is investing out of its third fund, a $150M vehicle as well as a $75M global fund and numerous special purpose vehicles.

Key Responsibilities: Support preparation and review of fund and management company financials, including bank and inter-company accounting reconciliations and codingReview deliverables and coordinate with third-party fund administrators and service providers
- Review legal documents related to fund activities such as limited partnership agreements, operating agreements, stock purchase agreements, special purpose vehicle agreements, etc.
- Helping manage financial-related compliance protocols
- Support quarterly financial reporting for investors
- Support financial statement reviews and investor reporting, including tax and audit functions
- Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor onboarding
- Collaborate with investment, legal, finance, and compliance teams
- Help ensure operational and data accuracy across all fund structures, including LPs, SPVs, and side letters
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in fund accounting, audit, fund administrator, or operations in VC/PE
- Management company or general corporate accounting experience
- Experience working with or at a fund administrator
- Experience reviewing and analyzing operating agreements, limited partner agreements, stock purchase agreements, special purpose vehicles, etc.
- Familiarity/experience with SPVs, LPs, and side letters
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial team
- Bachelor’s degree required
Work Arrangement & Flexibility:
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- NYC-based team (hybrid, 3 days a week near Penn Station)
- Full-time role
- The salary for this role ranges from $80K – $125K plus bonus, benefits, and the potential for carried interest.
