This is new position based out of the firm’s Singapore Office.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic self-starter who relishes working on their own with little or no supervision. Confident and optimist, high-energy, willing learner, believes in technology and follows technology trends closely, data-driven with an eye for details and willing to try without the fear of failure, keen to be part of a change for good.
Job Responsibilities:
• Deal screening: call and/or meet with prospects, evaluate opportunities. Perform Due Diligence.
• Documentation: summarize call notes, enter deal details in Investment report and prepare internal investment memos.
• Ascertaining product-market fits, evaluation of Minimum viable products benchmarking market technology and competitor landscape
• Macro research on trends and developments in disrupting innovation and the competitive landscape
• Evaluate the target company’s technology including IPs, moat analysis
• Conduct background checks on the current management of the target company.
• Perform valuation analysis via modeling
• Creating social media content for Decacorn channels.
Job Requirements:
• A Degree in Law, or Engineering/Physics, or Finance, Business, Economics, or History (including financial history) would be preferred.
• Good to have: Experience in venture capital space.
• Must have: Penchant for the technology startup ecosystem, high integrity and a strong passion for following technology led disruptive innovation.
• Personal traits: Application of common sense, analytical skills, detail-oriented, curiosity to learn, self-motivated, strong written and verbal communication skills and above all resourcefulness (doing more with less).
• Functional knowledge: Excel including advanced function, proficient with PowerPoint and use of generative AI tools.
