We are looking for a smart, sociable, proactive person with a passion for startups and venture capital investing. Portfolion has a collaborative environment where everyone's opinion matters. Beyond the requisite analytical skills, we are looking for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, someone who has the drive, and resourcefulness to build and grow a widespread network within the tech and VC communities to proactively source deals. We are looking for someone who does not get afraid of responsibility, can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and can reliably execute projects end-to-end. The ideal candidate is a team player yet also comfortable working independently and handling ambiguity.
What will you do?
You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end deal process from building a network of startup founders and connections in the VC ecosystem, to sourcing deals, to managing the due-diligence process, to closing the deal, to owning relationships with founders.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in venture capital investing or relevant sectors (M&A, Consulting, etc. )
- Experience at a tech-startup is a plus, but not required
- Fluent in English, another European language is an advantage
- Location: Budapest, Hungary (On site)
