We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the general fund operations and assisting in investor relations and portfolio management activities.
Operations Management:
- Coordinate with service providers to ensure smooth fund operations
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records for all funds
- Work closely with the service vendors to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial statements, NAV calculations, and investor reports
- Cash flow monitoring and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required reports and filings
Investor Relations:
- Assist in the preparations of investor communications, presentations, and periodic updates
- Prepare presentations, and updates for limited partners (LPs). Communicate investment thesis, key findings, and performance updates effectively
- Serve as a point of contact for investors regarding operational queries and reporting
Portfolio management:
- Monitor investment status and progress of portfolio companies
- Work closely with portfolio companies and their founders to provide strategic support and foster growth
- Stay informed and conduct market research about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics within the start-up ecosystem
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a top-tier institution
- Positive attitude, ability to multitask, and meet or beat deadlines
- Strong analytical and writing skills, preferably with interest in startup, investments, and venture capital world
- Fluency in Mandarin or a South-East Asian language is a plus
