KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizing advanced sourcing tools and databases to identify the most promising startups and investment opportunities
- Supporting the pre-screening and evaluation of potential deals
- Managing due diligence processes, including coordination with external advisors
- Performing background analyses (markets, competitors, trends)
- Preparing financial models, valuations, and investment memoranda
- Supporting transaction negotiations and documentation
- Developing decision-support materials for the investment committee
- Monitoring performance of portfolio companies, preparing strategic decisions (board, general meetings), and supporting value creation initiatives
- Representing Lead Ventures at conferences, networking events and startup ecosystem engagements
- Supporting internal strategic and analytical projects
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Education: University degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a technological field (advanced degrees or specializations)
- Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience
- Investment experience (VC/PE, investment bank, M&A) or founding experience (SW startup) is an advantage
- Core skills: Strong financial, strategic, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Tools & Tech: Proficiency with the latest venture capital tech stack, including CRM tools, deal sourcing platforms, analytics software, and databases
- Language: Fluent English
