Job Description
At Redpoint we produce content for the entrepreneurial world. We’re seeking someone who is passionate about the world of tech & venture capital to help support our current and future content endeavors. Your job will be a combination of assisting with content production and managing the process of creating and distributing content across social media.
This role will initially be a 6-12mo contract (full-time), with the expectation that a successful candidate be converted to full-time after the contract ends.
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $80,000-$110,000 / year, actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
Location: San Francisco
Responsibilities:
- Creative direction / input on what content should be highlighted across channels
- Managing social media content calendar
- Managing video with editors - oversee the process of content selection, radio editing, overlays, revisions and posting to socials
- Project managing the incubation process of new video series
- Posting to socials: managing post schedule across two sets of accounts (Twitter/LI/IG/TikTok/YT Shorts)
- Managing a physical studio space. Operating camera/lighting equipment for in-person recordings
- Pre-production research / prep for shows
What we’re looking for:
- 1-2 years job experience
- Native and fluent in different social media platforms (particularly Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitter)
- Strong writing skills in creating short and witty social content
- Genuine interest in the world of tech / VC / finance
- Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills
- Knowledge of Social Media publishing platforms (ex. Sprout Social, Sprinklr etc)
- Ability to live in or relocate to San Francisco
Exceptional Candidates will have:
- Has existing prominent social presence (or has helped to grow a social media presence)
- Some level of video editing capabilities
