As an Investment Director, you will drive building ECBF's investment portfolio and success.
You will responsibly manage all aspects of the deal life cycle from sourcing and analysis, including quantitative and qualitative investment analysis, due diligence, structuring, and negotiating through to closing.
With your sound investment experience, you will also drive the value creation in our portfolio companies and lead them to a successful exit.

You bring relevant expertise in financing round structuring, either from a venture capital investor, a start-up entrepreneur, or at C-level in a scale-up. Venture Capital terms and conditions are part of your daily toolbox. Ideally, you have already built a successful track-record as an investor.
You are well-known and well-connected in the European start-up scene. Other VCs and start-ups/scale-ups contact you directly when it comes to top syndicates with ECBF. You have a deep understanding of investments in innovative growth-stage companies.
You are a humble team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, a hands-on attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a hunting attitude for investment targets.
In addition, you have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ideally in an additional European language.
Like the whole ECBF team, you are highly motivated by impacting your work. Ideally, you are experienced in sustainable / impact investments. Since ESG is becoming an essential aspect of investing, relevant experiences complement your investment skills.
A scientific-technological background is welcome but not mandatory. Knowledge of digital topics or commercialization is of interest for ECBF.
