Job Description

Cocoon Capital is a leading, Singapore-based venture capital firm focusing on early-stage enterprise tech companies across Southeast Asia. Cocoon takes a hands-on, founder-first approach to early-stage investing. With our slogan “Dare to Change™”, we differentiate itself by investing in not more than 6 companies a year and by working closely with our founders to support them in achieving their full potential.

In expanding our team's capabilities, we seek an organised and proactive fund operations analyst to support the Cocoon team with internal fund operations and marketing activities across the region. Your duties will include investor relations management, fund administration processes and assisting with marketing initiatives for the fund.

Fund Operations Analyst scope and responsibilities

You will support the investment team on fund operational elements from the portfolio and investor-facing communication to internal operations. You will also maintain oversight of and suggest improvements to internal processes and work to improve quality and productivity.

Your role will include coordination with the managing partners on various human resource initiatives and will support timely and accurate financial reporting to our investors and other stakeholders.

Finally, you will support additional ad hoc company needs such as event planning and CRM content management.

In summary, the role will include the following activities:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of Cocoon Capital, including external communications like social media and newsletters
  • Management of communications and organisation of events around the region
  • Maintain and upkeep the fund’s CRM database
  • Performing administrative duties as needed for the Managing Partners, including their daily calendar management and travel schedule
  • Ensure the timely completion and dissemination of relevant portfolio updates

Job requirements

Successful candidates will possess
  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 1 year of office management experience is preferred but not required
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to function independently and take the initiative where required
