W23 Global brings together five of the world’s leading grocery retailers in a pioneering collaborative global venture capital fund and will seek to invest in some of the world’s most innovative start-ups and scale-ups who are transforming grocery retail and addressing the sector’s sustainability challenges.
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to lead the financial operations of W23 Global.

What you’ll do
- You will be critical to the success of W23 Global by running all the finance activities of the fund, managing all financial, treasury, and taxation aspects.
- manage all forms of investor reporting, including the preparation of IFRS accounts
- provide strategic financial and operational insights to support decision-making
- act as a key liaison with the investors’ external reporting, treasury and tax teams
- support broader fund compliance matters
- conduct financial due diligence on potential investment opportunities
What you’ll bring
- Chartered accountancy (CA) or CPA degree and tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline
- Extensive finance experience in chartered accounting or corporate finance
- Relevant experience in funds management, private equity or venture capital fund finance is highly desirable
- Significant experience in accounting valuation, with a thorough understanding of IFRS reporting standards and company valuations (e.g. startups).
- An independent thinker who has the energy and enthusiasm to drive positive results, both operationally and commercially, within a high performing environment
