Company Overview:
Founded in 2012, Susa is a venture capital firm that supports founders building category-defining companies in technology and manages over $1B in capital. We primarily invest in software and AI-enabled businesses across healthcare, fintech, supply chain, B2B SaaS, and infrastructure/developer tools. We are company builders and have supported companies like Robinhood, Flexport, Stord, Viz and Newfront.

The Opportunity:
Susa is seeking a Head of GTM / GTM Lead to develop and lead the firm’s business development and partnerships efforts. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and develop relationships with key technology buyers across software and non-software companies (primarily CTOs, CIOs, and Heads of Data) and manage, centralize, and own existing relationships that will benefit Susa and its portfolio companies.

This is an incredible role for someone looking to combine sales and partnerships experience and venture capital while also taking a major leadership role as the first GTM hire for the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and manage a network of relationships with technology decision makers, to support portfolio introductions and advantageous partnerships
- Lead initiatives to build deep relationships with key partners and create an engaged community including but not limited to dinners, receptions, and events that bring together the broader Susa network, portfolio and technology decision maker network
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify business development priorities and execute across key goals

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a strong network across enterprise buyers and help us proactively foster new relationships with select partners to benefit Susa and support growth across our portfolio companies. Key sets of experiences include:
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development at a company selling into CIOs, CTOs or Heads of Data and/or 5+ years of experience in GTM at a venture fund
- Deep executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs and - Heads of Data and proven track record cultivating and managing those relationships and cultivating community effectively
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology across SaaS, infrastructure, and AI applications
Structured problem solver with experience building in low structure environments; track records of creating structured processes and executing across them  
- High initiative executor with the ability to work independently and drive towards outcomes
