Job Description

Educapital is recruiting an Impact VC Associate for the launch of its Fund II.

About Educapital

Educapital is Europe’s first impact investment fund dedicated to EdTech (Future of Education) and Future of Work. Created in 2017 by Marie-Christine Levet and Litzie Maarek, Educapital invests from late seed to series B in innovative European startups.

Educapital launched Educapital I in 2017 and has invested in 20+ leading EdTech companies, including Labster, 360 Learning, Preply, Lunii, and LiveMentor, making it one of the most active EdTech funds across the world. Educapital's second fund will be launching in 2021Q4.


You want to work on projects that are meaningful, useful and contribute to a better world. You want to be part of an entrepreneurial adventure.

As part of the Investment team, you will:

  • Identify and detect investment opportunities
  • Evaluate investment opportunities (business plan, valuation, modeling, competitors, due diligence) and participate in the realization of investments
  • Lead the Impact/ESG due diligence
  • Work on Edtech-related research projects
  • Participate in the active financial and impact monitoring of the portfolio companies


  • Master in finance/business
  • 1-3 years’ experience in VC/PE, M&A, startups, accelerator, incubator, strategy
  • Experience in ESG/Impact is a plus, but a strong interest in these subjects is mandatory
  • Energetic, team-spirit and hardworking mindset
  • Autonomous and multi-tasking
  • Full proficiency in French and English
