Cortado Ventures is a venture capital firm investing in early-stage, ambitious, growth-driven companies to define a new generation of economic prosperity for Oklahoma. Headquartered in Oklahoma City and with a satellite office in Tulsa, OK, Cortado seeks to invest in capital-efficient businesses located in the midcontinent or in sectors important to Oklahoma and the region.
CORTADO MARKETING/P.R. INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Cortado interns will have the opportunity to experience the venture capital industry, interact with high growth startups, and learn from experienced entrepreneurs. The Marketing intern will support the marketing team in areas of owned media, events, community engagement and resource building. Example responsibilities of an intern include, but aren’t limited to:
• Content creation
- social media posts, including copy and graphics
- blogs
- newsletters
- website
• Support event planning and outreach
• Research in venture capital industry developments
• Community engagement with leaders in entrepreneurial ecosystem
This paid internship will be a minimum of 10 hours per week, up to 32 hours per week.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a junior or senior student with communications, marketing, graphic design, public relations, writing, journalism or media background. Candidates with previous internship experience and interest in entrepreneurship are also preferred.
Strong candidates are autonomous self-starters, willing and able to learn quickly and work hard as they navigate the world of venture capital and storytelling.
