Venture Capital Fund – Internship (6 months) – June 2024

Company Description

OLMA Luxury Holdings was founded in 2012 and targets investment opportunities in European small and medium size businesses in the luxury goods and services sector. It focuses specifically on experiential luxury and digital projects such as the boat rental platform Click & Boat, the second-hand watches marketplace Kronos 360, the Italian furniture online platform Artemest and the home rental online platform Le Collectionist.

Leveraging the success of OLH, OLMA is currently working on the launch of a Venture Capital fund ("LIFT").

LIFT is an investment vehicle intended to focus on investing transformative technologies for the fashion and luxury industries. The project's ambition is to deploy the money raised in transformative technologies and innovation focused on the fashion and luxury industries (Series A and B).

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be engaged in a wide variety of tasks to support the LIFT team:

• Launch & fundraising – she/he will be involved in the early stages of the fund's launch and consequently will need to demonstrate good organisational skills and flexibility. As an example, she/he will be in support of the marketing team during the road show, preparing specific documentation, liaising with potential investors, overseeing data-rooms, etc.
• Research – the analyst intern will help to map out the FashionTech industry: addressable markets, trends evolution, innovations and technologies, players within the environment. As part of this workstream, she/he will be carrying out strategic market reports.
• Investment – the candidate will meet with entrepreneurs/potential investment opportunities and will be taking part in the assessment of these opportunities by building an in-depth understanding of individual business models and assessing the potential. He/she also will be taking part in preparing documentation of investment analysis, including investment memos, valuation analysis and presentations.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be required to have a strong academic background in an appropriate field of study (business, economics or finance) with a genuine interest in the Tech industry. A previous experience of at least 6 months is required in Venture Capital, Private Equity, M&A, corporate finance, or strategic consulting.

Location: Paris

Duration: 6 months
