Untapped Ventures is seeking a highly motivated AI Venture Analyst Intern with a profound interest in these domains to join our internship program as a Sourcing Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI-focused venture capital and to play a key role in sourcing innovative startups.

Are you a natural networker with a passion for connecting with people? Can you attend startup events, conferences, and demo days regularly to discover fresh investment opportunities? This role involves sourcing innovative founders and startups, staying on top of the latest trends, and building relationships within the San Francisco tech ecosystem. Your ability to represent Untapped Ventures at events is critical to success in this role.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Must be based in SF, NYC, or Boston areas and plugged into the local VC/startup ecosystem
• Prior exposure to venture-backed startups or venture capital—either through an internship, fellowship, accelerator, or relevant project work (minimum 3 months).
• Knowledge in the AI startup space and the most current tech
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in AI, business, finance, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment in fast-moving, ambiguous environments; a strong interest in AI and early-stage startups is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas clearly.
• Proven experience in creating compelling presentations and professional business writing.

COMPENSATION:

This is an unpaid, remote internship that will start in Jan 2025. It will require a commitment of 10+ hrs/week for 120-days.
