Internship

At Aero X Ventures, we provide funding, along with social and intellectual capital to early-stage technology companies. We are a specialized venture fund dedicated to investing in the transformation of Aerospace & Defense. Our unique industry relationships and affiliate entities provide our fund with a competitive advantage on deal opportunities and access to critical information.

About the Program

Our interns get the unique opportunity to work directly with partner-level investors on meaningful projects that they will own end-to-end. Interns will have opportunities to get immersed in our deal process with project types that include the following:

• Tech scouting to source new investment opportunities
• Conducting market assessments and researching investment trends to help us stay up to date on industry submarkets
• Process automation research and implementation

This position is fully remote. To avoid impacting other academic commitments, we work with you to ensure that projects suit your skills and availability. Interns will have periodic planning calls with the firm's Investment Partner and in some cases, the opportunity to present the results of their work to the full AXV team. They may also, over time, get involved in broader new investment due diligence activities.

Please note: This internship is an unpaid, part-time role that will continue through the school year. This is not a full-time summer internship position.

Strong candidates will:

• Be keenly interested in Aerospace and Defense
• Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering or a related field.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be a US Citizen
