Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Designer Intern to join our dynamic team in the Brussels Metropolitan Area. This is an unpaid internship offering a hybrid work arrangement with a mix of on-site and remote opportunities. As a Designer Intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our visual communications, creating engaging presentations, and supporting our marketing efforts across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create visually appealing presentations for investment pitches and internal meetings
- Design infographics and visual aids to explain complex dual-use technologies and market trends
- Develop and maintain consistent branding across all Seven Capital materials
- Assist in creating marketing collateral for events, website, and social media
- Contribute to the design of reports, whitepapers, and other publications
- Collaborate with the marketing and investment teams to visualize data and insights
- Support the creation of digital assets for our online presence
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skills
- Understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visuals
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
- Familiarity with design for digital platforms and social media
Desired Skills
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Familiarity with web design and basic HTML/CSS
- Interest in technology, particularly in dual-use innovations
- Understanding of the startup and venture capital ecosystem
