Verve Ventures supports groundbreaking companies that tackle humanity’s greatest challenges with technology. Our team is a great place for learning as we have colleagues with very different educational and international backgrounds. We’re ambitious and entrepreneurial but we’re also very helpful and humble. We invest in our people and give everyone the shared responsibility and opportunity of shaping the future development of our company, guided by the common goal to change the venture capital industry itself and making investing in the best European startups more accessible to people. This is your chance to join the company that is setting a new standard in European venture capital and making this exciting industry more diverse and successful.

We are now hiring an Investor Relations intern to join our Investor Experience team.

You will have the opportunity to help us grow and maintain the largest and most active network of startup investors in Europe. You will be the first point of contact for our private investor community, which consists of C-level executives, board members of large corporations, and successful entrepreneurs.

You will be part of the investor relations team and work closely with Friederike, Cecile, and David.

As an Investor Relations intern your main tasks will be to:

  • Handle individual support requests from investors in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure investors have a great investment experience.
  • Fundraising for startup investment opportunities and regular follow-ups with qualified sales leads.
  • Host investor calls and organize events to maintain a strong relationship with our investor base.

This job could be for you if:

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and genuinely enjoy working with people
  • Offering an exceptional client experience motivates you and you would like to build trusted, long-lasting customer relationships with private investors, and going forward  institutional investors.
  • You are curious to learn about new technologies.
  • You are fluent in English and either French or German and can express yourself concisely in writing and verbally
  • Learning and adapting quickly in a fast-changing environment drives your growth as a professional.
  • You are enrolled in, or have graduated from a Bachelor's degree
  • You have a first professional experience in a client-facing role. Fundraising, or sales is a plus.

While we value all these points very much, don’t be discouraged if you don’t tick all of these boxes. What we value most is the ability and willingness to learn.

The position is offered as a 100% intern role for a period of six months starting as soon as possible.

  • Flexible working hours and the possibility to work partially remotely (e.g. home office), making it easier to combine work and family
  • While we strongly prefer physical presence at our offices for onboarding, collaboration, and social events, many of our team members work remotely multiple days a week
  • Frequent team events, flat hierarchy
  • A young and rapidly evolving company that allows every employee to make decisions and shape our success.
  • Days off between Christmas and New Year

We strongly believe that diverse experiences and viewpoints are key for any productive work environment, in particular for successful venture capital investors. We therefore consider applications irrespective of nationality, ethnic background, age, sexual orientation, gender, disability or family situation. We also encourage applications from re-entrants to work and are open to discuss part-time roles.
