About the opportunity
We are on the lookout for Intern, Venture Capital (all genders) to join the Delivery Hero Ventures team in Berlin on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
We:
- Invest in people, technology, and companies where we believe there could be a significant positive impact in the future
- Support our entrepreneurs to achieve success in building out their companies and vision
- Believe a key advantage we have is being able to support with operational expertise and knowledge
- Work side by side with Delivery Hero’s platform and regional brands to serve entrepreneurs, consumers, riders, restaurants, and other stakeholders in the community
In this role you will
- Support Delivery Hero's DH Ventures team on all aspects of deal sourcing, analysis and execution
- Actively identify, screen and analyze global venture capital investment opportunities
- Research industries and provide market maps of opportunities
- Research new business models and identify emerging market and industry trends
- Support the team in financial analysis, ongoing management of our portfolio companies and reporting
What you need to be successful
- You are a student or have recently completed a degree in a relevant field
- You are an analytical thinker with an active interest in venture capital
- You have completed at least one internship in a venture capital firm or similar professional environment (e.g. private equity, investment bank, M&A team of a major technology firm, etc)
- You are able to work with us at least 6 months as a full time or part-time and are available from September 2024
- You are eligible to work in Germany
