Job Description
Responsibilities
- Work on the sourcing and screening of potential targets
- Call and/or meet with prospects to evaluate investment opportunities
- Perform industry/market research to help identify new investment trends and opportunities and build knowledge materials for the team
- Summarize key investment highlights, risks and mitigation of the potential target
- Perform Due Diligence on potential target
- Gather and follow up information from the target company and industry experts
- Perform valuation analysis by using various methodologies such as relative valuation, DCF
- Lead and prepare comprehensive investment memorandum to present investment committee
- Support end-to-end deal execution including term sheet/contracts negotiation and closing
- Work closely with third party advisors (finance, tax and legal) for the due diligence of the target company to ensure it is well completed
- Support portfolio companies with the strategy development, business planning, monitoring and documentation reporting to LPs
- Develop network within the SMEs and Startup ecosystem in Thailand
- Involve in fund-raising and exit planning
- Attending conferences/events and networking with founders and peers
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or postgraduate in finance or related fields
- 1-2 years of investment/financial advisory experience (VC/PE, investment banking, private equity is preferred)
- Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated
- Strong knowledge of Excel and financial modelling
- Experience with financial projection/investment valuation techniques is a plus
- Ability to produce well designed professional looking Powerpoint presentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A natural hustler with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Hard working with can-do attitude, eager to learn
- Experience in start-up, venture capital or investment banking is favorable however not required
