The Role:
We're actively seeking a Founding General Partner (GP) to join us at the ground level of Forest Hill Ventures. This is a unique chance to shape the direction and ethos of a venture fund committed to empowering the entrepreneurs of tomorrow. As a key player, you'll be instrumental in defining our strategic approach, crafting our investment portfolio, and championing our mission to back the next wave of innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Direction: Work alongside co-founders to develop and refine our fund's investment focus, operational strategies, and overarching goals.
- Portfolio Development: Scout, assess, and secure promising investment opportunities, while offering mentorship and support to our growing portfolio of companies.
- Capital Raising and LP Engagement: Connect with current and prospective limited partners to communicate the fund's mission and secure financial backing.
- Ecosystem Engagement: Build and maintain strong connections within the startup and VC communities, establishing Forest Hill Ventures as a prominent entity.
- Leadership and Culture: Help cultivate a fund culture that values innovation, inclusivity, and ambition. Guide and develop our team, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
