About Tulip Ventures
- Tulip Ventures is a career student association of the University of Amsterdam focused on startups. We empower students to break into the startup world by founding companies, working in venture capital (VC), and joining existing startups.
- We are a team of highly motivated students passionate about startups, entrepreneurship, and innovation that want to have a positive impact on the Amsterdam ecosystem.
- We create media and organize events to educate students, promote entrepreneurship, and form meaningful connections between our members.
About the Marketing Team
- Event promotion: execute promotional strategies that align with the association’s goals and mission, and design and distribute event-specific marketing materials.
- Brand management: maintain and strengthen the association’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications and materials.
- Content design: create compelling promotional content to support marketing campaigns.
About You
- Experience: Courses and / or work experience in marketing, social media management or corporate communication.
- Education: 2nd and 3rd year bachelor or master student in a related field.
- Proficiency in Canva, including experience with creating social media graphics, presentations, posters, and other visual content.
- Experience working in a team as well as independently when needed, actively participating in group meetings and contributing to projects.
- Solid creative skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining the quality of work.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality visual content using Canva, including social media posts, flyers, posters, banners, and presentations.
- Develop promotional materials that effectively communicate and promote the association’s events, initiatives, projects, and overall mission.
- Assist in managing the association's social media accounts and create engaging and consistent content that reflects the association's brand and appeals to the target audience.
- Ensure all marketing materials adhere to the association’s branding guidelines, maintaining a consistent and professional look across all platforms.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions to develop creative marketing strategies for promoting the association’s activities and mission.
