What you will be doing

As an intern, you will be part of our Digital Venture investment team and ensure the successful execution of due diligence processes across Europe.

Part I - Screening

  • Drive the sourcing of new investment opportunities through networking and outreach and lead initial screening with a focus on the UK startup ecosystem
  • Meet entrepreneurs with the team every week
  • Participate at startup events to gather info on startups, sectors and new trends
  • Dig deep into tech topics you are passionate about to help the team build a thesis on industries & trends

Part II - Due Diligence

Play a key role in due diligence & closing processes :

  • Participate in due diligence meetings, reference calls, product and technical due diligence
  • Perform competitive landscape research, market sizing, business plan modelling
  • Participate in drafting of investment memoranda.
  • Support portfolio companies with ongoing financial analyses and follow-on fundraising processes

Part III - Support

  • Support portfolio companies with financial analyses and follow-on fundraising processes
  • Help us manage our relationships with our LPs through events and special reports on trends they are interested in
  • Organize events and build content to promote the fund in the European ecosystem
  • Build and enhance internal processes

Who we're looking for

  • A genuine interest in technology & entrepreneurship. You don't need to be a VC ecosystem's expert, but we would expect you to show a vivid interest for and convictions on new technologies and tech companies.
  • Previous exposure to the tech ecosystem. Ideally you have already spent some time in the tech ecosystem be it as a student or through some first work experiences.
  • Proven rigor & analytical skills. being able to analyze and understand complex structures will come in handy :)
  • Curious & open-minded. You will meet new people, new businesses and new industries every day. So wanting to learn more about things you know nothing about is an absolute necessity.
  • Autonomous & organized. You will need to juggle different tasks with different investors, be able to prioritize your work and be proactive in leveraging the team.
  • Fluent in English - both written & communication skills. French speaker is a plus

A right to work in the UK / Visa is required
