About the role

Role Overview

As a Capital Formation Partner, you will take full ownership of the fundraising process from sourcing and qualifying leads to pitching and closing commitments. This is a KPI-driven, results-oriented role for a self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment and is confident in managing high-value relationships with investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently generate and qualify leads.
  • Pitch QuantumLight Fund II to potential limited partners (LPs) and build long-term investor relationships.
  • Close LP commitments independently or in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Target large family offices and UHNWIs ($500M+ AUM/net worth), as well as institutional investors such as sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, endowments, and foundations.
  • Meet weekly KPIs for qualified LP meetings and achieve quarterly capital-raising targets from self-generated leads.
  • Maintain and grow a strong network of LPs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ end-to-end fundraising experience in venture capital (VC) or private equity (PE).
  • Proven track record in client-facing fundraising, investor relations, or high-value sales within VC/PE.
  • Strong existing LP network, particularly among family offices and UHNWIs active in VC investments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly entrepreneurial, driven, ambitious, and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results under pressure.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
