Position Summary

Location: Geoagnostic - access R3i via our R3i Ovice

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Partner with a primary focus on capital for our funds to join our team. This role is ideal for a Registered Investment Advisor, family office next-gen, or institutional allocator looking for legacy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in capital markets, a deep understanding of family offices and venture capital, and a proven track record of successful fundraising and community building. This position demands exceptional networking skills and the ability to drive significant capital inflows to support our fund and foundation's growth and investment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Leadership:

• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure capital from institutional investors, corporate venture capital, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other potential sources.
• Leverage existing relationships and build new ones within the capital markets to identify and attract potential investors.
• Lead investor relations efforts, ensuring transparent and effective communication regarding fund performance, strategy, and value proposition.

Capital Markets Engagement:

• Maintain and expand a robust network within the corporate venture capital and broader financial ecosystems.
• Conduct regular roadshows, presentations, and meetings to engage with current and prospective investors.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to effectively communicate the fund’s strategic vision and investment opportunities.

Strategic Partnerships:

• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including co-investors and industry partners, to enhance fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align fundraising activities with the fund’s investment strategy and objectives.

Investor Relations:

• Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with limited partners, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
• Provide regular updates, reports, and insights to investors, maintaining a high level of transparency and trust.

Marketing and Brand Building:

• Fly the flag as the local / regional ambassador for the Fund
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of the fund.
• Represent the fund at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and attract new investors.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in capital raising and investor relations within the institutional capital, family office, corporate venture capital, or private equity industry.
• Secondary, Dealer/Broker, Venture Debt, and/or VC experience
• Strong connections to institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Proven track record of successful fundraising and capital inflows.
• Exceptional networking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Deep understanding of venture capital, investment strategies, and market dynamics.
• Highly motivated, with strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
