We are currently expanding our global footprint and are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Partner to lead our efforts across multiple key regions.
Role Overview: We are looking for a General Partner (GP) to join our team and take the lead in running a founder cohort across NYC, the Bay Area, London, Berlin, and Sweden. The GP will be responsible for building and leading the team from the ground up, leveraging their extensive network of Limited Partners (LPs), and driving the fundraising efforts to close a $70M fund by early 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cohort Leadership: Establish and manage founder cohorts across key global regions including NYC, the Bay Area, London, Berlin, and Sweden.
- Team Building: Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing team across multiple locations.
- Fundraising: Leverage your network to secure LP commitments and drive the fundraising process to close a $70M fund by early 2025.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to achieve the fund's goals and ensure the success of the portfolio companies.
- Networking: Utilize your extensive network to build relationships with potential LPs, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to portfolio companies, helping them navigate the challenges of early-stage growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Partner or in a senior leadership role within a venture capital firm.
- Strong network of LPs and the ability to leverage these connections to raise funds.
- Experience in building and managing teams across multiple locations.
- Demonstrated success in raising and closing significant venture capital funds.
- Deep understanding of the early-stage startup ecosystem.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Willingness to travel extensively to manage global teams and cohorts.
