Position Summary
The Limited Partner (Investment Director / Principal) is responsible for originating, evaluating, executing and managing investments into leading venture capital, growth equity and private equity funds globally.
The role serves as a trusted steward of multi-generational capital, building long-term relationships with premier investment managers while continuously identifying emerging investment themes and opportunities.
Beyond fund investments, the successful candidate will provide strategic market intelligence, portfolio construction insights and thought leadership that supports the family's long-term investment objectives.
This is a highly visible role requiring exceptional judgement, intellectual curiosity, commercial acumen and global relationship-building capabilities.
The position reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Strategy
- Develop and refine long-term private capital investment strategies.
- Recommend portfolio allocations across venture capital, growth equity and private equity.
- Identify structural shifts creating long-term investment opportunities.
- Evaluate emerging sectors, technologies and macroeconomic trends.
- Recommend portfolio diversification strategies.
- Support investment committee discussions and strategic planning.
Fund Sourcing
- Build relationships with leading global venture capital firms.
- Source top-performing first-time and established fund managers.
- Maintain continuous dialogue with investment managers worldwide.
- Attend global investment conferences and industry forums.
- Develop proprietary deal flow through institutional networks.
- Build relationships with family offices, sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors.

Experience
- 12–20 years of relevant investment experience.
- Experience within a leading family office, sovereign wealth fund, endowment, pension fund, fund-of-funds, investment consultant or institutional allocator.
- Strong venture capital and private equity investment experience.
- Proven track record evaluating investment funds.
- Experience reviewing Limited Partnership Agreements.
- Experience participating in Investment Committees.
- International investment exposure.
- Strong institutional network across global investment managers.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline.
- MBA from a leading international business school preferred.
- CFA, CAIA or equivalent professional qualification advantageous.
