We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Platform Manager to join our team and drive the growth and development of our portfolio companies in the space and deep tech sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Support: Provide strategic guidance, resources, and connections to help our portfolio companies scale rapidly, overcome obstacles, and achieve their goals. Act as a trusted advisor to founders and executive teams, offering insights and support on business development, fundraising, product development, and market penetration.
- Ecosystem Development: Build and maintain strong relationships within the space and deep tech ecosystems, including entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, government agencies, research institutions, and industry associations. Leverage these relationships to identify investment opportunities, create strategic partnerships, and foster a supportive community for our portfolio companies.
- Thought Leadership: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to inform our investment strategy and provide actionable insights to our portfolio companies. Represent our firm at industry events, conferences, and webinars as a thought leader and advocate for the space and deep tech sectors.
- Platform Initiatives: Design and implement value-add programs for our portfolio companies, such as mentorship programs, workshops, and networking events. Collaborate with the investment team to identify areas where the platform can provide differentiated value to our portfolio companies and attract new investment opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the investment team to evaluate new investment opportunities, conduct due diligence, and assist with portfolio management. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to share success stories, promote portfolio company achievements, and strengthen our brand presence in the space and deep tech sectors.
- Social Media, Marketing, and Public Communication: Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy to increase our firm's visibility and thought leadership in the space and deep tech sectors. Manage our social media channels, create engaging content, and monitor online engagement to grow our audience and amplify the successes of our portfolio companies. Collaborate with our marketing team to design and implement targeted campaigns, public relations initiatives, and thought-provoking articles or blog posts that showcase our expertise, investment philosophy, and the value we bring to our portfolio companies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in the space or deep tech industries, such as business development, product management, or strategy roles at startups or established companies.
- Prior experience in venture capital, private equity, or consulting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of and passion for the space and deep tech sectors, with a demonstrated ability to think critically about market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
