Job Description
Responsibilities
- Work closely with portfolio companies to monitor fund’s investment, business plan and overall performance to provide advice and help drive business to achieve goals
- Manage portfolio’s companies’ bod and shareholder meeting process to ensure it complies with the laws and shareholder’s agreement
- Prepare the cases/requests from the portfolio companies to present and get approval from the investment committee
- Liaison and work closely with fund manager to update portfolio companies’ performance and other relevant issues
- Seek exit opportunities for portfolio companies to maximize fund’s return and execute relevant M&A transaction.
- Arrange and organize relevant internal/external meeting and meeting materials
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or postgraduate in finance or related fields
- 1-2 years of investment/financial advisory experience (VC/PE, investment banking, private equity is preferred)
- Outstanding analytical skills, detail-oriented, proactive and self-motivated
- Strong knowledge of Excel and financial modelling
- Experience with financial projection/investment valuation techniques is a plus
- Ability to produce well designed professional looking Powerpoint presentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A natural hustler with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Hard working with can-do attitude, eager to learn
- Experience in start-up, venture capital or investment banking is favorable however not required
