Job Description:
We are seeking a Principal to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and a proven track record in startups or venture capital. This person will be working closely with the General Partners and will be expected to work long hours.
Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate high-potential investment opportunities
Engage with founders and conduct comprehensive due diligence
Evaluate deals and make investment decisions
Prepare investment recommendations and present to the partnership
Support portfolio companies with strategic guidance and resources
Lead firm-wide strategic projects
Help with fundraising process
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in technology startups, venture capital, or related fields
Experience working at a startup in product or engineering is a plus
People you have worked with put you in the top 10% of people they have worked with
You are an A-Player and only want to work with A-Players
You are incredibly ambitious and want to work long hours and alongside other equally ambitious people
Experience translating business needs into scalable processes
Proven ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
You push everyone who works with you to move faster, and you enable them to move fast
Skill in quickly synthesizing complex information and communicating effectively to diverse audiences, both written and verbally
You are a “yes-and” person who is positive and motivates those around you with your enthusiasm
