VIGO Ventures invests in technological projects, mainly in the field of photonics, with the potential for global expansion. We invest in Europe, the USA and Canada. Currently, its portfolio includes 9 companies from five European countries and Canada.
We are part of a market of over USD 2 trillion and we are supported by an international technology leader and an experienced PE investment company. Our strategic partners are Warsaw Equity Group - implementing capital investments, created by entrepreneurs who have been successfully supporting business ventures for over 20 years, and VIGO Photonics , listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, a world leader in photonic technologies. In what areas will you add value at VIGO Ventures?
- Search, analysis and interviews with international technology projects
- Preparing market and sector analyzes supporting investment decisions
- Preparing financial analyses, financial models and company valuations
- Learning about technology to better understand the success factors for top tech companies
- Maintaining existing and building new relationships with key partners of the VIGO Ventures ecosystem
- Participation in technological analyzes and coordination of the selection of experts
- Participation in raising investment rounds by portfolio companies
- Participation in ongoing investment processes
- Participation in the preparation of transaction documentation
- Support in building the value of VIGO Ventures portfolio companies
What is your profile?
- At least 5 years of experience in a PE/VC fund or cooperation with PE/VC funds, in implementing investments and collecting follow-on financing for portfolio companies
- Technical education (physics, optoelectronics, photonics)
- Previous experience in working with science and technology projects/companies at an early stage of development
- Developed interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in building relationships with people in managerial positions
- Ability to function in an international environment
- Fluency in speaking and writing in Polish and English (C1+), other languages allowing for easy communication are welcome
- Willingness to constantly deepen knowledge and self-development
- High level of ambition and motivation, 'entrepreneurial' thinking

- Certificates held/under certification (e.g. CFA, ACCA, investment advisor/broker)
