Tamarind Hill, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on high-growth healthcare technology businesses, is seeking a motivated Senior Investment Analyst for a pre-MBA two-year position with growth potential.

Role Overview

As a Senior Investment Analyst, you'll be exposed to various aspects of Tamarind Hill's operations, including investment sourcing, due diligence, network building, and internal operations support. This role offers invaluable insight into the venture capital industry and fast-growing technology startups.

This role is intended to be facilitated in conjunction with the Michigan Venture Fellows Program. As such it will provide enhanced networking and connectivity with venture funds throughout the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

Investment Opportunity Sourcing:

• Develop regional and relationship networks (inbound & outbound)
• Screen and evaluate investment opportunities
• Manage the opportunity pipeline
• Oversee CRM tools utilization and administration

Investment Support and Research:

• Support investment, finance, and operations teams as needed
• Analyze industry trends, financial data, and market developments
• Contribute to Tamarind Hill's investment theses development

Due Diligence Support:

• Collaborate with the investment team on due diligence processes
• Conduct financial assessments, industry research, and market mapping

Portfolio Tracking and Insights:

• Collect, curate, and analyze financial data and KPIs across investments

Investor Communications:

• Assist in preparing comprehensive quarterly reports for Limited Partner investors

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of work experience
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to see the "big picture"
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Passion for healthcare
• Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
• Work from our Ann Arbor office
