Magnify Ventures is the first venture capital firm to invest in technology across modern family life – from pregnancy and parenting to aging and end-of-life. We invest to magnify founders with big ideas, targeting massive market opportunities across sectors. We’ve built a portfolio of high-performing companies in the $648B Care Economy, founded the world’s first Care Summit, and established a pioneering brand in this growing category.

We partner with corporate groups, healthcare innovation leaders, design thinkers, researchers, and advisors who help our portfolio companies pioneer new categories of technology innovation.

In April, we launch Magnify II, backing early-stage entrepreneurs who are building transformative software solutions across healthcare, financial technology, and infrastructure, the care workforce, and household optimization. Our team pairs category-leading care expertise with rigorous investing and a founder-first, high-integrity operating style. We take a long-term view and build with integrity, rigor, and continuous learning.

The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Associate to join our team as we launch our Magnify II. They will bring venture capital investment and operational experience to the team, while enjoying close working relationships with both Managing Partners, the CFO, and our Project Manager, yielding unique development opportunities in sourcing, deal analysis, portfolio support, network building, and firm building.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

· Operations Management: Manage core fund operations tools and workflows (Carta, KPI collection, fund models) to support decision-making, reporting, and scalable processes in partnership with the CFO and Managing Partners

· Portfolio Data Management: Coordinate portfolio data collection beyond core KPIs and maintain clean, usable datasets for internal analysis and external reporting

· Market Research & Deal Diligence: Support sourcing and diligence through market research, founder meetings, and thesis-driven analysis

· Investment Analysis: Assist with underwriting for new and follow-on investments, including memos and deal execution support

· Portfolio Support: Support portfolio companies on key priorities and help connect them to relevant firm resources and partnerships

· Network/Partnerships/Comms: Drive communication and community engagement across founders, co-investors, and partners, support partnerships, convenings, and the Care Summit, represent the firm, and track ecosystem trends

Qualifications

  • Passionate about a career in venture capital, technology, and entrepreneurship
  • Intellectually curious and motivated to explore, understand, and support technology companies that are addressing critical care gaps across the family lifecycle
  • Strong familiarity with venture capital finance, including ownership analysis and fund modeling, negotiation, and deal process management
  • Analytical mindset; experience in synthesizing large amounts of information to ascertain what matters and to create models that forecast outcomes
  • Self-directed, with a high level of maturity and ability to work both in teams and independently
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with attention to detail and commitment to superior quality analysis and deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator, with confidence to articulate and debate opinions on potential investments
  • 3-5 years of experience in venture capital/finance or banking experience. Additional operations experience in a management position at a startup a plus
  • A sense of humor, empathy for others, and confidence with humility
  • Business savvy with good professional judgement. MBA preferred
  • U.S. work visa, authorization, or citizenship required
