The Senior Associate will:
· Ensure the effective and timely assessment of investment strategies, investment plans and investment targets in selected sectors and geographies, to ensure that the organization remains a leader within its defined sector and industry.
· Monitor and manage financial and investment performance of the investment portfolio.
Manage a team of Associates, Senior Analysts and Analysts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Originate deal flow, joint venture partners, equity investors and debt providers.
· Perform financial and commercial due diligence and analysis and assess synergies on prospective projects and M&A targets.
· Build complex and detailed financial models and perform company/asset valuations (DCF, comparable market multiples, precedent transactions, LBO modelling etc.), and investment, sensitivity and return analyses on investments and projects.
· Draft teasers, investment memoranda, fundraising/marketing documents and management presentations for Engagement and Investment Committees, financial institutions and co-investors.
· Analyze financial performance and financial projections.
· Prepare offer letters, frameworks of co-operation, memoranda of understanding for joint ventures and M&A.
· Assist with the management of transaction processes from A to Z.
· Stay abreast of and conduct research (market, competition) and gather market intelligence on financial markets, macroeconomics, geopolitical developments, private equity, venture capital and M&A.
· Monitor and manage financial and investment performance of investment portfolio.
· Manage a team of Associates, Senior Analysts and Analysts.
EXPERIENCE:
· 4-6 years of related experience in a similar position, preferably in a similar industry (family office, investment conglomerate, private equity, corporate finance, M&A, leveraged finance, transaction advisory) and in a fast-paced environment.
· In depth knowledge of finance, investment and economics.
· Strong financial modelling
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree in finance, business or economics from a top tier academic institution
CFA/Chartered Accountancy a plus.
