Founded in 2026, the platform is free to use and offers affiliate discounts, special offers, and ongoing support. Toolkit For Founders focuses on critical operational areas such as payroll, employer of record services, fund administration, SOC 2 compliance, online banking, and international hiring. The company is building a trusted network that simplifies vendor selection, reduces costs, and accelerates growth for founders.

Role Description The Venture Partner is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role involves sourcing and evaluating emerging service providers, building and managing a portfolio of vendor relationships, and identifying opportunities that deliver value to founders on the platform. The Venture Partner will perform investment-style analysis and due diligence on vendors, collaborate with internal teams to shape recommendation criteria, and contribute to strategic initiatives that expand Toolkit For Founders’ offerings across key service categories. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with founders and service providers, assessing market trends, preparing insights and reports, and representing the company at relevant events and ecosystem gatherings.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in investments and angel investing, with the ability to identify high-potential service providers.
  • Experience in portfolio management, including monitoring performance and optimizing a portfolio of vendor or partner relationships.
  • Solid finance skills, with comfort interpreting financial statements, pricing models, and unit economics.
  • Proven due diligence capabilities, including structured evaluation of operational, financial, and compliance risks.
  • Experience working with or advising founders, small and medium businesses, or startups.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
