Real Estate Investment Associate

BauMont Real Estate Capital – Real Estate Private Equity Company Profile : BauMont Real Estate Capital is a real estate private equity firm led by a team of senior executives having achieved one of the top track records in Europe over the last 25 years. Consistent with the team’s long-proven strategy and backed by international institutional investors, BauMont’s discretionary Value-add funds target investments primarily in France, the UK, Germany and Southern Europe, across several real estate asset classes and through complex value creation strategies. The team currently consists of 18 professionals across the two BauMont offices in London and Paris. M&G Real Estate, a global investment platform with $45bn of assets under management, has acquired a 65% stake in BauMont in 2024 to support the growth of the platform across Europe.

Role: The Investment Associate will be based in Paris with exposure to the full investment process, with a focus on the French market.

Investment Associate tasks:

• Screening of new investment opportunities
• Financial modelling and analysis of opportunities
• Market research
• Drafting of investment committee memoranda
• Acquisition due diligence
• Investment execution and financing, managing workstreams with internal and external stakeholders
• Monitoring of asset management and investment performance
• Provide support for capital raising effort
• Provide support in implementing and monitoring ESG processes

Qualifications / Skills / Requirements:

• Master’s degree in a leading Business School, Engineering School or University
• 2-3 years of experience in the real estate investment or corporate finance industries
• Keen interest in the real estate industry
• Sound judgment with strong analytic skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Dedication and eagerness to perform
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in French & English; additional European language is a plus
